Anne T. Limauro, 63, of Guilford, CT passed away peacefully on October 12, 2006. She was the loving wife of Vincent J. Limauro for 42 years and a devoted mother of Angela and her husband Don Pritchard of Branford and Christy A. Limauro of New York City, formerly of Guilford, CT. Anne was born in New Haven, CT on November 13, 1942, daughter of the late Anthony Farricielli and Angelina Rapini Farricielli.
She worked for two prominent Optometrists in New Haven in her early, single years. She then owned and operated a popular deli in Guilford for many years with her husband. She later went on to open her own successful deli and catering business in Killingworth, CT. More recently, she worked for the Guilford Public School system.
Anne was an amazing, caring and loving woman with a smile that could light up a room. She had a kind, sincere heart and cared deeply for others around her. With her infectious laugh, she brought happiness to many people. She loved the beach, General Hospital, spending time with her friends and family, painting and most of all dancing. We will miss her words of wisdom, sense of humor and love for life.
Besides her husband and two daughters, Anne leaves behind her beloved granddaughter Kayleigh Anne Pritchard, a brother Vincent T. Farricielli and his wife Marie Farricielli of Branford. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Anne will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.
Her funeral procession will leave the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Pl. Monday morning at 9:15 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. George Church, Guilford at 10. Burial will follow in West Side Cemetery, Guilford.Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-8pm.
