Marie Vitaletti Onofrio of 13 Berncliff Drive in North Branford died July 24, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is the wife of John Onofrio. Marie was born in New Haven January 2, 1944 to the late Armano and Mary Vitaletti. She was a hairstylist for many years while raising her children and in 1974 earned her real estate brokers license. She managed the Beazley office for several years. In her later years she worked with the wonderful people at Wilmott Real Estate in East Haven.
Marie is the mother of Deborah (Daniel Ferrigno) Onofrio, Donna (Nicholas) Mancini, John (Cheryl) and Robert Onofrio. Sister of Juliette Toma, Robert and David Vitaletti. Grandmother of Jennifer, Laura and Stephanie DellaCamera, Alyssa and Nicholas Mancini, John, Lindsey, Julianna, Angela, Adrianna and Robert Onofrio.
Relatives and friends may call MONDAY from 5-7pm. at the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl. and are asked to meet at St. Monica's Church Tuesday morning at 10 for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be private.
