Dorothy DePalma Mangusi of 190 Wooster Street New Haven died July 24, 2010 in Connecticut Hospice. She was the wife of the late Andrew Mangusi. Dorothy was born in New Haven October 20, 1921 a daughter of the late Andrew and Antoinette Amici DePalma and was a seamstress for many years. She was a loving mother filled with empathy and compassion for others. She is the mother of Annmarie Douglas, Barbara Anderson and John Mancuso. Sister of Concetta Roberts, Michael DePalma, Anthony "Abe" DePalma and the late Rose Durso, Anna Proto, Frank "Lee", Pasquale "DA", Lawrence and William DePalma. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass in St. Michael's Church Friday morning at 8. There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers and make memorial contributions to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Road Branford, CT 06405. The IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11 Wooster Place is in care of arrangements.
